Turning a number in an ad comment into a lead
3 min read
Someone who writes “how much is it” under the ad and leaves a number is a customer too. If you do not copy it out by hand, it just stays in the comments.
A number left in a comment is a lead too
In the comments under an ad people often just leave a phone number: “call me” and the number. No form was filled in, so for Facebook this is not a lead — but for the salesperson it is exactly that.
Yuboraman watches the comments under ads and posts, finds the phone number in them and records it as a lead. From there the number goes to the destination you picked — there is no copying comments out by hand.
It shows most in campaigns that collect a lot of comments: going through hundreds of comments twice a day is not realistic, and the dozens of numbers among them are real money.
Campaigns with no form give leads too
Not every campaign runs with a lead form: ads launched for traffic or reach have no form at all. The comments get written regardless.
Collecting leads from comments closes that gap — the campaign brings in its customer even where there is no form.
Ordinary page posts work the same way: a number left in a comment is collected by the same route, and it does not have to be an ad.
The limit: the number has to be in the Uzbek format
The system recognises Uzbek phone numbers in comments. A number in a foreign format is not recognised and does not become a lead.
If part of your audience is abroad, keep this limit in mind: they will keep writing comments, but their numbers will not be collected automatically.
The number has to be in the comment itself. A comment saying “I messaged you privately” or “you have my number” is, for the system, a comment with no number.
This does not replace the lead form
A lead from a comment holds nothing but a phone number. The answers a form asks for — name, region, the product they are interested in — are not in the comment, because nobody asked for them.
So comment leads are usually colder: the salesperson starts the conversation from scratch. In exchange they come with no extra budget — the campaign is already running and the comments are already being written.
Keep this in mind before calling: with a comment lead you open with a question, not with an offer. Nobody has asked yet what the person is interested in.
